Bury St Edmonds are no match for table toppers Bletchley

Bletchley Ladies climbed to the top of the league with a comprehensive 31-14 win over Bury St Edmonds.

Rachael Appleby scored the opening try for Bletchley, with Rachael Taylor kicking the extras to put Bletchley 7-0 up.

The home side pulled level, but it didn’t take long before Claire Sutton put Bletchley back in front. Emma Taylor added a third try as Bletchley led 19-7 at the break.

Bury St Edmonds scored early in the second half, before Sutton scored her second.

Jen Bengard scored the final try of the afternoon to hand Bletchley the 31-14 victory, sending them to the top of the league.
