St Paul's girls third in the country

St Paul's girls' U15s came third in the RFU Girls' Rugby School's National Finals at the weekend.

Competing against 12 other schools from across the country, St Paul’s lost just one game all day, and conquered a strong team from The Kings of Wessex Academy to take third place in the tournament.

Dave Manders, Rugby Development Manager at St Paul’s Catholic School, said: “This is a brilliant result for our girls and we are so proud that a Milton Keynes school is number three in England.

“Every player worked really hard to achieve this fantastic result – they are our best school team to date.”

The team reached the National Schools’ Final after becoming Buckinghamshire County Champions and runners up at their RFU area 2 regional event.
