MK DONS striker Leon Knight looked ahead to this weekend's League Two clash with Morecambe by insisting the Dons will be going all out for a win at Christie Park.
In their last outing Dons beat table-topping Darlington 1-0 at stadium:mk with the visitng Quakers content to stifle the home side in their quest for a draw.
However, a late Drissa Diallo goal saw MK clinch a 1-0 win and speaking to the Citizen the diminutive Knight said they will respect this Saturday's hosts but will not adopt the same tactics as Darlington did last weekend.
"We're going to go out with the same attitude and we'll treat them like they're top of the league," he said.
"We won't be going there for a draw - like Darlington did against us at stadium:mk - we'll go to try and win and we'll respect them and they'll respect us and it should be a good game."
Knight also admitted his recent form has been below par but that he will continue to work hard for the benefit of the team: "I played well in the first four games or so but I haven't played well in the last couple of games.
"But we're still winning and I'm still giving 100 per cent for the team even though sometimes things don't come off."
Despite the arrival of several new strikers in the summer the 25-year-old former Chelsea, Brighton and Swansea player said that he relishes the competition currently at the Dons.
"All of us strikers have got a good understanding with each other and it's good to have that in the squad," he said.
"There's a lot of competition and it's good competition.
"Anyone who doesn't like competition and just likes to be comfortable really shouldn't be in the game so the competition is good."
