MK Dons striker Drewe Broughton has told the Citizen of his frustration at having to watch the Dons' storming start to the season from the stands.
The Milton Keynes born frontman has endured a torrid start to his Dons career, picking up a series of niggling injuries since his free transfer in the summer.

He told the Citizen: "It's been really frustrating, terrible to be honest. I've been like a bear with a sore head.

"I came here feeling really good in the summer and felt I'd done well in the pre-season and then the injury just kicked me in the back.

"I tried to come back against Sheffield United and broke down again and then I've had to sit here whilst the lads have won game after game.

"Which is great, and I'm buzzing for the club and the city but personally it's just frustrating.

"Luckily though I'm a little bit older now so I've just put my head down, kept training and kept fit. And there's still a good six or seven months left so there's plenty of time for me yet."
