MK Dons assistant boss Ray Mathias has ordered his team to send out a message to the rest of the league by "steamrolling" Darlington on Saturday.
Darlington are currently top of League Two and Mathias was under no illusions as to how big Saturday's game is.

He said:"We've had them watched and there a good reports coming back so it'll be a massive game, even at this stage of the season because if we win we'll go within a point of them, and if they win they go about seven points ahead of us, and we don't want anyone shooting out ahead of us."

And he hopes the Dons will send out a message to all other promotion challengers with a win.

"As we've got Darlington everybody will take notice of this and I think people have taken note of how were playing and the goals we've been scoring.

"Hopefully can we continue that on Saturday and if Darlington are in our way we can steamroller them and take them apart as we have done with the other teams."
