Dons had to hold on for 30 minutes with nine men, with Willy Gueret the
hero, also saving a penalty.

Matt Bloomfield had given the Blues the lead, before new dad Colin Cameron equalised.

Keith Andrews was then sent off for handball, Gueret saving John Sutton's resulting penalty, then straight after Lloyd Dyer was sent off for a tackle on Tom Williams.

Milton Keynes had most of the opening proceedings, playing with a lot of fight and passion. But for all their possession they didn't really threat the home side. Dean Lewington and Lloyd Dyer's blocked volleys
just about their only chances.

In reply Tom Williams of Wycombe drifted in a dangerous free kick that Willy Gueret just gathered in front of his line.

Things continued in the same tight and tense fashion, with Wycombe, if anything getting into the game the longer it went on.

That then proved to be the case when Wycombe took the lead on 37 minutes, Matt Bloomfield got on the end of Scott McGleish's lovely flick-on and calmly side-footed home.

This gave Wycombe a confidence boost and the Dons looked like they would have been happy to go into the break a goal down. But then in stoppage time the Dons counter attacked clinically. Lloyd Dyer breaking away down the left, he cut back and squared for Colin Cameron who
tapped in from five yards.

The goal was the lift they needed and they came out really up for the second half, aided by the vociferous Dons fans they were now attacking.

Lewington had one effort well saved by Fielding and Wilbraham fizzed a volley wide.

The game was then turned on its head on 56 minutes when Keith Andrews was sent off for a hand ball on the line after a Sergio Torres shot.

John Sutton took the resulting penalty but Gueret saved well low to his left.

Then seconds after the Dons were celebrating the great save, Lloyd Dyer was sent off for a challenge on Tom Williams – leaving the Dons with nine men.

The Dons now had 30 minutes to try and cling on for a point.

Their only choice was to put two banks of four in front of goal and that's what they did.

They did that well though and it took Wycombe till the 70th minute to create a chance, McGleish's header was well turned wide by Gueret.

McGleish had another chance on 79 minutes when he got a touch on Gary Holt's long range effort, but Gueret adjusted well and clung on well.

McGleish then had a third chance straight after, but his diving header sailed over.

The Dons continued to battle like Lions and McGleish had yet another chance that he headed over after a good cross from Tom Williams.

Things were unbelievably tense when five minutes of added time was announced.

But they continued to defend unbelievably well and they frustrated them right till the end, clinging on for a vital point.

Much to the delight of the brilliant away support.
