Work by Kate Morgan is among entries selected to appear at The Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours annual exhibition, next month.
Kate works out of Milton Keynes, bringing a contemporary twist to natural history subjects – she has received attention for her intricate studies of wildlife, plants and landscapes using a wide variety of media – watercolour, gouache, inks and even biro.
Kate has a degree in fine art, and a Masters degree in illustration, and her work has been widely exhibited.
Additionally, some of her intricate work has been selected for use in a forthcoming book on drawing expected to be released later this year.
Kate is currently working on a new series of wildlife paintings featuring small birds, insects and plants using a mix of detailed drawing, watercolour and powerful composition .
