Story of Noel Coward
Wolverton Gilbert & Sullivan Society have a music revue to stage this week, and their imaginative and innovative presentation of Noel Coward's words, music and sketches will ring out from an intimate setting – the theatre at Great Linford Arts Centre, artworks-mk.

Cowardy Custard – originally aired back in 1972 at London's Mermaid Theatre – will tell the story of Noel Coward's life with song and biographical snippets. Among items set for inclusion will be some previously unpublished material, excerpts of plays and dialogues, material from Coward's autobiographies and a few of his little-known poems.

Add sketches like Design For Living and Shadow Play, and songs like Mad Dogs and Englishmen into the mix and what you are looking at, in exchange for your £8 ticket money, is a Coward extravaganza.

Cowardy Custard shows tonight, tomorrow and Saturday (July 3, 4 and 5) and you can purchase tickets by calling MK 262250. Show time is 7.30pm.
Whose Turn Is It Anyway?

We should thank our lucky stars for those fellas over at Whose Turn Is It Anyway? They could make a moggy on her ninth life purr!
This Saturday they are holding their funny court once more, at their regular base of Wolverton's Madcap Theatre.

It's all about improvisation, this show...and making you giggle like it's going out of fashion. Better still, it is your contributions from which the actors feed. For a spontaneous night of unrehearsed comedy, we suggest that you get along to the venue in time for 7.30pm. The show will begin at 8pm prompt. Tickets are £7.50 on the door, but just £6 if you book in advance. Call MK 605502 for reservations. Log on to www.whoseturn.org.uk for more information and to leave your sketch ideas.
