Band land recording contract
Local heavyweights Fell Silent have come up trumps – and landed themselves a tasty recording contract!
In a move which is one of the best things to happen to artists in the new city for aeons, the city clan inked a deal with the American-based Sumerian Records ... we'll bring you more details on all of that in the near future, when we will also fill you in on another plump proposition to have knocked at their door: The boys have been confirmed as the tour support for Enter Shikari this October. Which, as anyone with half an ear twitching rock's way will realise, is a massive scoop.
Fell Silent will take a night off from the tour to headline their own show at Camden Underworld, on Tuesday, October 7, and we wanted to give you the heads up right away on the date which is a city-led bash brimming with Keynes class: Rise Inside, and Our Man In The Bronze Age will also give the capital a clout!
The Arusha Accord complete the bill.
A coach will ferry interested parties between MK and London. Split with £14 and your return travel and ticket to the show is covered. Fancy some?
Call MK 503349 now then, or pop to www.myspace.com/d2w and register your interest. Once the coach is full, there is no need bleating about the missed opportunity.
Age restriction at the venue is 14, but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
If you are going to the show, drop City Nights a line to sammy.jones@mkcitizen.co.uk and you could end up reviewing it for the area's leading music section...
