THECENTRE:MK has rustled up a little something guaranteed to get the tastebuds tingling in any fan of cuisine – it's the Milton Keynes Festival of Food and it will be plated and served this weekend, with the aid of celebrity chefs.

Over 20 exhibitors will be in Middleton Hall for the weekend, offering you morsels of advice and naturally letting you taste their handiworks...and that is just for starters!

The main course must surely be the appearance of Ready Steady Cook regular and one of the UK's leading female chefs Lesley Waters, who will be doing three live demonstrations, as will Antony Worrall Thompson who will be making his pans dirty for your delectation on Sunday.

For dessert, how about The Ethical Food Company who will be running a food quiz across both days?

Put simply, love food and you'll love this event and all of the specialist products available to peruse, try and purchase.

This is one of those shows when we truly can recommend you turn up and
experience the sights, smells and tastes of the goodies on offer, heck, we're hungry just thinking about it. Any veggie curries going begging at the bash?!

To make certain of catching the stars at the stove, make a note of the demos and when they'll be happening...

On Saturday:
The Ethical Food Company Food Quiz (11am), Lesley Waters (midday, 2pm & 4pm), Teresa Bovey (Curry Slim, 1pm), Tiny Deol (Curry Slim, 3pm).

On Sunday:
The Ethical Food Company Quiz (midday), Antony Worrall Thompson (1pm, 3pm & 4pm), Teresa Bovey (2pm).
