A COUPLE of years back and Krakajak commanded big audiences at their gigs, making friends aplenty for their upbeat pop punk shenanigans, but like all good things, they too came to an end, leaving memories to hide in the dark, damp corners of MK musical history...until now.

The band has responded to the interest still shown in the toons by announcing a one-off special gig, and it's happening at The Pitz tomorrow night. We have it on good authority that this really is a case of the boys reforming for the one date only, '...to say a proper goodbye to all the kids that loyally followed them all round this city...'

Planets (the new – far superior – name for the mob previously known as 2ft High), Stanislav (new Indie rockers with a girl at the helm for a change) and new city new-metal mob They Died In The Fire will all make use of the PA too.

If you are going, drag out those fancy dress costumes people. The bands will be joining in too, and there will be a prize awarded by Krakajak for the best attire.

The mind boggles at the thought of those weird and wonderful delights that will roll up to Leadenhall's Pitz hall tomorrow night from 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale at £6.

Purchase on the doors, or call MK 660392.

While on the subject of The Pitz, the venue has announced that Capdown's farewell gig is confirmed for Saturday, June 7.

The punk-rock 'erberts will officially bow out with the date, which will include support from Planets. Special guests are still to be
announced, but ticket holders for their previously announced dates at the venue, please note: Tickets for the sports hall concert will NOT be valid for this new show.

You should contact the box office for a refund, and then purchase for this performance. Tickets are £11. Naturally, they will move with some speed.
