With pubs and music venues struggling in the current economic climate, it is nice to be able to pass on some nice news for a change.
Having suffered an unfortunate demise last year, Stony Stratford watering hole The Fox & Hounds is back open for business.

The Fox & Hounds - a definite jewel in the crown of the town, is having its previous unfortunate demise turned around.

New owners are already bar side and waiting for your custom - and you can be sure of a warm response.
"Our vision for the Fox & Hounds is to get it back to the warm and friendly place where people have the opportunity to come and have a listen to live music, enjoy real ales and some quality food delivered by a dedicated team," said new man at the pumps, Ed Newton.

Friday night will be given over to live music at the haunt, with The Bullfrogs taking the position tomorrow evening.

Keep reading GO! for your week on week line-up at the venue.

Local musician Trevor Jeavons, himself a champion of the establishment will play every Tuesday evening, with featured guests.

As for food?
A traditional menu of rustic food with a twist will tempt you, and a lighter lunch menu will fill business bellies too.

Food will be served from Midday Tuesday through to Saturday, with Sunday lunchtime sessions too.
