FORMER Children’s Laureate Jacqueline Wilson will be in the new city at the weekend, the guest of Waterstone’s Bookstore.
They have arranged for the writer to appear at Christ the Cornerstone Church to talk about her latest book Lily Alone.
To date, Jacqueline has shifted more than 30 million copies of her books...and that is the sum total only in the UK!
Her work has also been translated into 34 languages. 2011 marks the 20th anniversary since the publication of her most famous page-turner The Story of Tracy Beaker, making for something of a special year for the lady with the gift.
Tickets for Saturday’s visit from the sensational writer will sell as quick as her books, so don’t delay, book yours in person at Waterstone’s in Midsummer Place, or by calling MK 395384.
“I would encourage fans to get in touch very quickly if they don’t want to be disappointed,” said Events Organiser Annette Reed.
“Jacqueline will be at the Church from 1pm for the talk and a brief signing session for ticket holders only.
