FIFTEEN of the city’s most promising new film makers will have test screenings at MK Gallery this evening, when the MK Film Network profiles the people behind the deliveries and helps the creative types to develop their skills even further.

There is no shortage of people in and around Milton Keynes getting creative with film, and you can see the extent of their efforts at the event, from 6.30pm.

Tickets are free (but if you want to, a donation in support of the network will be gratefully received) and you should email your wish to attend to ursywhite@hotmail.co.uk

Naturally, at this late stage that doesn’t give you too long to get sorted, but chance your luck.

Tim Searle, who runs Baby Cow Animation with Steve Coogan and Henry Normal, will introduce the deliveries, and Tim is a fella that knows more than a thing or two about this film making malarkey.

He is more than happy to be supporting the rising talent from his home area.

“Milton Keynes is full of creativity, but I think it is fair to say its not been very well ‘joined up’ so far,” he told GO!

“I am happy to support MK Film Network on their mission to create a network of filmmakers and performers in and around the MK area...”
