SANTA’S GROTTO EXPERIENCE

Middleton Hall, centre:mk, until December 24

From now until Christmas Eve, centre:mk is hosting the UK’s largest shopping centre grotto experience, featuring a double-height carousel, traditional nativity scene and craft cabins.

As well as an individual family visit with Santa and the chance to have a photo taken, kids can join in a fun craft experience, where they make a Christmas wreath and decorate a wooden angel. Up to two adults go free with every child and the visit will last about 20 minutes.

NUTCRACKER

English National Ballet presents its acclaimed production of Nutcracker in MK before returning to the London Coliseum for Christmas. On a sparkling Christmas Eve in Edwardian London, Clara and her enchanted Nutcracker doll discover a magical world.

WOLVERTON FOOD & FUN DAY II

Wyvern School, 11am to 5pm Sunday

Urban Grilla are cooking up a second food and drink extravaganza at this school fundraiser, shining a light on local producers and vendors, and this time there will be a festive feel too. There will also be non-food stalls, MK-based Lee’s Reptiles and a visit from Father Christmas. Admission is free.

How Park Wood, Thursdays 10am

Pre-school toddlers and their parents are invited to join the Parks Trust’s education team for a weekly toddle around Howe Park Wood followed by a Nature Play session either in the wood or at the education centre.
