SATURDAY STUDIO

Milton Keynes Gallery, 1pm to 3pm Saturday

Saturday Studio is for children aged five and over and their families, introduces art in all its forms.

It offers intriguing artist-led activity through which you are invited to join in, explore, question and create while working together as a family.

This Saturday, Saturday Studio offers the chance to design, make and decorate a tilting cardboard maze for a marble with artist Lee Farmer. The price is £1 per serson on the door.

AFTER-SCHOOL JUNIOR PROGRAMME

Bletchley Leisure Centre, Monday to Thursday

Banish after-school boredom, with a new affordable termtime activity programme. Indoor Football, cricket, badminton, tennis and street golf are just some of the activities on offer for children aged eight to 11. Each session £3 per child.

MK Gallery runs these Monday sessions, offering messy and creative activities for parents and under-fives living in the Brooklands and Broughton Gate area to explore the joys of art through multi-sensory activities. Places are limited so booking is essential.

GO APE

Woburn Safari Park, Woburn

There’s treetop adventure suitable for all ages at Go Ape. Children aged 10 or older who are over 4ft 7in tall can enjoy Tree Top Adventure. Under-16s must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Tree Top Junior is suitable for kids aged six to 12 who are over 3ft 3in tall.

PARKS AND RUN

Furzton Lake, Sunday

Join in the Parks Trust’s free monthly fun run, starting at 10am on Sunday. There are fun runs for all ages and abilities on offer, with a choice of routes available.

The October run starts from Furzton Lake car park with choice of 2km, 4km and 10km routes.

Meet in the car park by the Triple Star Head, off V4 Watling Street, opposite National Bowl.
