AS part of an International Premiere screening event, you are invited to attend the Buszy this Friday evening, to sit back with the premiere of An Island.

But what is it and where did it come from?

Well, in 2010, French filmmaker Vincent Moon and Efterklang’s eight piece orchestra met up on an island off the Danish coast.

The objective was a simple as it was basic – to shoot a film.

It would be a film that was the same length as an album, and full of performances, experiments and collaborations.

In just four days, Efterklang collaborated with more than 200 musicians, kids and parents, creating new performances and interpretations of songs lifted from last year’s album Magic Chairs.

Vincent filmed the lot and also conducted filmic and musical experiments with the band as his playmates.

Change your intrigue into knowledge by purchasing a ticket for the film.

Doors will open and the bar will serve from 8pm. Tickets are free, but limited. Call MK 231312.
