Classy and brassy concert in Newport Pagnell

Sinfonia
Sinfonia

MK Sinfonia will be in concert this Saturday evening at St Peter and St Paul’s Church in Newport Pagnell.

And this time they’ll have something of a brassy front – courtesy of soloists Tom Molloy and Kate Knight.

Two Haydn symphonies (No.s 31 & 69), one by Bach and a double horn concerto by Michael Haydn (brother of Joseph), will air.

Tickets will be available on the door, and show time is 7.45pm.

Those of you wanting to secure tickets in advance should call 01908 377518.

>Acoustic music will find a platform at York House Centre on Saturday night when Borderline Crossing play the Stony Stratford venue.

The foot-tapping and the feel-good is guaranteed from these boys, who blend their own self-penned efforts with a tasty selection of Americana, Country, Blues and Pop.

Hearty in music and for charity this show is - the performers will be raising cash for the Community Cardiac Group.

Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are £7.50,  so go get involved - and refresh yourselves with a snifter (we love that word) at the well stocked bar.
