HEALTHY sales of Stray’s Valhalla CD have prompted record label Angel Air to release Stray front man Del Bromham’s solo album The Devil’s Highway.
Previously, the only way to get your hands on a copy of the opus had been through the website or from a live show.
The album was recorded several years back, but fans that already have the disc seated in their collection will still find a reason to purchase this new issue – five new tracks and a booklet have been added, bulking up the original release.
It is a great opportunity for our new city man and his tasty music to reach the wider audience he deserves.
The album was released on Monday, and if you hold tight a little while longer you will be able to catch Del solo and acoustic in Molly’s Bar at Bedford Esquires – he will be there on Wednesday, June 8.
With the live bug in full effect, he has also confirmed not one but two appearances at the the Colne Rock & Blues Festival in Lancashire at the tail end of August, a solo acoustic set and an evening performance with his band The Devils.
As for Stray?
The much lauded rock-blues troupe continue to play live, and some of you might have caught them on Sunday, performing alongside Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash in Bletchley for a Japan Tsunami fundraiser.
