THE Swing’s The Thing Big Band take hold of The Church of Christ the Cornerstone this evening for In The Mood.

Formed from the nucleus of the Hamblin Band, this collective utilizes the talents of some exceptional players, and as a result, the Swing’s The Thing Big Band is revered for its stylish performances.

Musically, they play arrangements by bands like Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Woody Harman, Charlie Barnet, the Dorsey Brothers and Ted Heath.

Popular standards and inspirational arrangements are at the heart of every performance.

Tickets are on sale at £10, falling to £2 for children.
