NEW promotion There is a Light opens its doors for the first time tomorrow night at the Slug and Lettuce, and promises to be both eclectic and eccentric in approach.
“It will plough through the decades, from the 1960s to the 2010s, via such genres as indie, northern soul, new romantic, electro, rock n roll, dubstep, reggae and pop,” promoter Jess told City Nights.
“This is something really exciting for the music lovers of MK who want to dress up, dance and drink at what has evolved into the city’s top alternative venue.”
And that music policy really will reach wide – from Jackie Wilson at one end to Lady Gaga at the other...and naturally a splash or two from Morrissey.
There is a Light will roll on the third Friday of every month at the city centre venue, from 9pm.
Tickets are a steal at just £2
