THE Parks Trust hosts another World Picnic on Sunday, and this one comes with a few special extras – including a 10 metre long pink pig with an animatronic head and babies made from vegetables parading around in a giant old fashioned pram!

Bet you weren’t expecting us to say that!

DJs on stilts and abstract street dancers will arrive in, and perform on top of a London taxi, and new-city carnival clan Festive Road will be bringing their super-sized kettle out to play...

Festive Road will also get busy with music, make-up and hat and costume making workshops.

“These exciting, fun acts will help us to add a new dimension to the World Picnic,” said Parks Trust events co-ordinator Julie Dawes.

Sunday’s event celebrates the music, dance and cultures of the world, and runs 1 to 6pm.

Admission is free.
