LAST year they gave us Counterfeit Stones and the awesome Blockheads.
In 2011, organisers of the Summer Fayre Festival are keeping it local though, with two days of live noise for you to indulge in.
Campbell Park is the venue, and the dates for the diary are July 30 and 31.
The roll call of artists partaking is pretty darn good, and there are plenty of them./
Eyes down for the list:
Pearl Handled Revolver, The Silver Brazilians, Sweet Felicity Arkwright, The Seraphims, Our Man In The Bronze Age, Seven Caves, Footswitch, Pete Odd, Problem Solved, R.S.I, Social Status, Rust Bucket and Oceans and Empires...and that’s only Saturday.
Sunday brings Cherry Lee Mewis, Ben Poole, Big Head, State of Grace, Dave Jackson Blues Band, Embrace The Tide, Casio Kid, Trash Monkey, Vomit Whores, Gilly Giddings, Late Night Library Club, Nick Fisher and Abyss.
Additional Unplugged, DJ and Comedy stints are also being lined-up, and a bar and market area will feature.
A big event probably has a big price tag too, right?
Actually, no it doesn’t. The whole thing is free. Sweet as a nut...
