LEGENDARY male ballet collective Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo bring their colourful parade back to Milton Keynes Theatre this week.

But you should forget all about being graceful and instead race to get tickets if you want to enjoy The Trocks deliver their new programme – they are only stopping off for a two day stay, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The company’s 16 male professional dancers will bring to life some of the greatest moments of classical ballet, and they have stunning technique.

The Trocks and their deliveries tip-toe a fine line between high art and high camp, that celebrates both the beauty and the essential absurdity of classical ballet.

And, as our picture shows, they do look particuarly dazzling!

The Trocks formed in New York in 1974 and have since brought plenty of sparkle and mischief to the stage.

They exaggerate the foibles, accidents and underlying incongruities of serious dance as they work hard to raise a sea of smiles in front of them.

And they have no intention of failing.

You might have seen Natalie Portman in Black Swan, but what you really need to see is The Trocks delivering their signature piece, Swan Lake Act II – which they will do at this show, along with Go for Barocco and Raymonda’s Wedding.

Ticket prices start at £12 and rise to £29.

Expect diva attitude, but in a change from the norm, this lot have buckets of talent to back it up.

Sit back, relax, be captivated.
