Creed Street Theatre in Wolverton has a right load of Nunsense for you from Thursday thanks to the town’s Gilbert & Sullivan society.

They are donning habits in order to bring you performances of the musical comedy.

‘When the Little Sisters of Hoboken discover their cook has accidentallty poisoned 52 of the sisters, they need funds for the burials.

The sisters decide to raise the money by putting on a variety show.’

You are invited to pull up a pew and join the Reverend Mother and the Sisters for a show that organisers promise is ‘habit forming’!

Convent humour will reign in the show which comes complete with tap dancing, feathers, roller skating and a wannabe ballerina nun.

Performances of Nunsense will roll from Thursday and nightly through to Saturday, with the curtain up at 7.30pm.

An additional matinee will also run on Saturday, from 2.30pm for those of you who fancy an early show.
