MILTON Keynes Amateur Operatic Society, whose past three panto episodes have been award-winners, will soon return to work, and this time they are taking another classic tale and giving it an original twist, hence The Little Mermaid and The Pirates!
Tonight, MKAOS are holding an introductory evening for anyone who might like to let their creative talent shine, either behind the scenes or on the stage.
Interested parties will be told the background, character details and when the auditions will be.
Pop to George Street Community Centre at 7.30pm, or for more details call up MK 521394.
It’ll be a fin-tastic show, say organisers...
MK’s Independent Cinema troupe Vagabond will be at the Cock Hotel in Stony Stratford this Sunday, showing last years’ Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll delivery, which stars Andy Serkis as the genius, and much missed musician Ian Dury.
If you want to see a film that is honest and real and focuses on one of the best bands that this little Isle has ever produced, take a ticket for the movie, which shows from 7pm.
Tickets are £5 and £3.
