THE magical Cinderella is a perfect for a post-Christmas treat and the LBO has teamed up with the Leighton Buzzard Drama Group to give away four family tickets to their fantastic show at the town’s theatre in Lake Street.
LBDG, whose panto last year (Jack and the Beanstalk) was crowned the best am-dram production in the whole eastern region, is staging the family favourite Cinderella from January 5.
The talented cast includes local singer Gemma Aguilar as a very modern Fairy Godmother and professional stuntman and freerunner David Rourke – who has appeared in Eastenders and Downton Abbey - will be making a dramatic appearance.
The production is being directed by Jo Taylor.
“We’re confident that this year’s pantomime will surprise theatre-going regulars,” says Jo. “The cast is pulling out all the stops to make this a real show to remember.”
Jo believes the show is fantastic value for money. “When money is tight but you still want to treat the kids, our production provides the perfect solution. Tickets start from just £8.50 for children – great value compared to theatres outside of Leighton Buzzard,” she said.
WIN TICKETS: We’re offering you the chance to win four sets of family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) for any of their Thursday night performances of Cinders in January, plus the opportunity of a back stage tour and a meet and greet with the cast and free gifts for the children.
