One hundred years on, Wolverton remember those who gave their lives in the First World War on Sunday.

Wolverton Town Band led the parade organised by Wolverton & Greenleys Town Council, alongside representatives from the armed forces and their youth sections. It was fronted by a 1914 Renault car and continued through the streets of Wolverton before arriving at Mill Mead Hall - the old Drill Hall - where there were speeches and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque remembering the men in the Buckinghamshire Battalion territorial force and the Oxfordshire And Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.

War-style refreshments and music was then on offer in Mill Mead Hall.
