Feeling the blues as rock band performs

Lovers of gritty, original blues rock will be in for a treat when The Paul Hegley Band perform at the Wheatsheaf on Friday night.

They will be performing track from the new EP Feel So Fine which was released at the end of last month.

The tracks on the EP are When I hit the bottom, Man Like Me and title track When I feel so fine.

Since being released the recording has commanded some great reviews in the music press.

Paul, who originates from Dunstable, has performed at the pub on several past occasions and on each one the venue has been packed solid with fans of his gritty and crisp style of vocals.

He will be playing his new releases and we can expect to hear tracks from his previous great EP as well - Smoke & Liquor.

The title track from the Smoke & Liquor EP has a real Blues influence with rocky undertones whilst Casino Square is a proper rock and roller and Shelter, the final track on the EP, is a true blues rock job with some great guitar solo work from Mr Hegley. A favourite with audiences is the

On Saturday the delightful Isabelle. They are a six piece edgy pop/rock band from Leighton Buzzard, who with their twist of funk and soul, are often to be seen performing at local events and music venues. They perform original songs and a wide range of covers from the 60s onwards.

Music at The Wheatsheaf starts about 9:30pm and entrance is free.
