Milton Keynes resident set to feature on returning Channel Four reality show

Peter White from Woburn Sands will be featured on channel 4 this Sunday as a contestant on the latest season of a prime time competition.

Mr White will be competing on the fourth season of The Great Pottery Throw Down starting on Sunday January 10 at 7:45PM.

Peter worked as an Art and design and technology teacher at Stantonbury Campus in Milton Keynes for over 20 years and will be hoping he can count on support from all his former students.

Nearing 70, Mr White is hoping to inspire people to keep on challenging themselves after he successfully advanced through interview selections and shortlisting to get this opportunity to thrive on prime time national television.

The Woburn Sands resident left behind a career in product design to pursue a degree in ceramics 20 years ago just before his 50th birthday and has been teaching in the visual arts ever since.

The Great Pottery Throw Down will run for ten weeks on Sunday's on Channel 4 at 7:45pm culminating with the final on March 14, the series will also be available on Channel 4's catch up service All 4.
