Put some va-va-vroom into your weekend

A COUPLE of weeks back and Bletchley Park famously received a visit from HRH the Queen.

They might not be rolling out the red carpet out this weekend, but will instead welcome a parade of wheels, partaking in the annual Classic Car and Motorbike Picnic.

Last year, the event attracted more than 250 classic vehicles, and there are high hopes that the number will increase this time around.

Also, as is traditional at some of these events, a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will make you look skywards...weather pending.

The home of the World War Two codebreakers will be offering a discount to those attending the bash in a vintage motor or on the back of a retro bike too.

Normal admission is £12 per person, but arrive in a vintage number and the fee will be just a fiver per car, £3 per bike, as opposed to the usual price of £12.

Bletchley Park is also home to many permanent exhibitions for you to peruse while on site.

The historic centre is open between 9.30am and 5pm.
