It was nine years ago today that we all lined up and bought our books to find out how Harry’s story would end as the seventh and final in the series, the Deathly Hallows, was released.

Hide AdFor many of us, this moment had been more than 10 years in the making - and we were desperate to learn Harry’s fate.
We read with anticipation as (spoiler alert) Harry, Ron and Hermione continued on their journey to find and destroy the Horcruxes, took part in the Battle of Hogwarts, and said goodbye to many of their friends and family members. .
And we held our breath as Harry faced You Know Who for their final and most deadly battle - and emerged victorious. With the epilogue, we could breathe easily.
