The train on Platform 4 is a tad small

If you choo-choo along, you will be met by 20 model layouts covering different scales.

Demonstrations on DCC – that’s Digital Command Control for those of you who, like us, aren’t experts – and model making demos will be given by the club, which is this month celebrating its first birthday.

New members are always welcomed, too, so if you fancy joining them, pop along and say hello.

The show will run between 10am and 4.30pm and admission is £10 per family (two adults, two kids). Individually adults pay £4, children and senior citizens the reduced fee of £2.

Rest assured these trains will definitely be on time.
