Spend an evening in company of top poet

Opportunity has knocked for a poet for the last 40 years and she is celebrating this milestone with a new show going to The Grove Theatre in Dunstable.

Pam Ayres’ new show can be seen on Wednesday, April 13 starting at 7.30pm.

Since appearing on TV’s Opportunity Knocks in 1975, the Britain’s Got Talent show of its time, Pam has appeared on many major TV shows and as a presenter on various radio shows.

One of these is her regular contribution to Radio 4 in Ayres On The Air. As well as this, Pam developed her eloquence in poetry in all occasions and is now the author of several best-selling poetry collections, which are shared nationwide during her tours.

Following the recent publication of her latest book, You Made Me Late Again!, Pam brings her poetic virtuosity to people nationwide this year, in a funny and approachable manner.

Her hair-trigger timing, her eye for the detail of everyday life, and for the absurdity therein, makes for an art that hides art.

Tickets for the show cost from £22.50. They are in limited supply and the theatre is urging people to book early to avoid any disappointment.
