Arriva bus driver with heart of gold dresses as superhero to delight children in Milton Keynes

A young bus driver with Arriva is driving around MK dressed as a superhero spread some lockdown cheer and raise money for the NHS.

Ashley Bradbury, 25, dons a different superhero costume every Thursday, much to the delight of his passengers.

Ashley, who comes from a whole family of frontline workers, has vowed to continue for as long as his company allows him to.

He said: "I wanted to spread some cheer for the NHS and children across MK. I'm doing this for front line workers and as a testament to the younger generation who work behind the scenes."

He has launched a fundraising page and aims to raise £2,500 for the NHS.

His proud stepmum Samantha said: " Ashley is an incredible young man with a heart of gold . We are a family of frontline workers and have found this truly inspirational.

"He has made us proud and is causing quite a stir within MK... Every city needs a super hero "
