Fish and chip shop reopens to serve townspeople near Milton Keynes

Initially customers cannot walk in and wait to be served but can order online or by phone for collection or delivery.

There will also be reduced opening times on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between 4pm and 9pm,

On Fridays the shop will open between 11.30am and 2pm and then again from 4pm to 9pm. It will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.

David Ellison, Deep Blue’s chief operating officer, said: “Our Woburn Sands store has an active community of customers who are well versed

with ordering online for collection or delivery, so we will be encouraging the use of our website and delivery drivers where possible.

"We have also taken a number of additional precautions to keep our team and customers safe should customers need to visit the store. These include floor stickers to indicate a two-metre distance between customers, sanitising stations for customers entering and leaving the store, team hand washing and surface sanitising and taking contactless payments where possible.”
