Milton Keynes businesses urged to contact council for slice of £5 million coronavirus grant funds

Milton Keynes Council has received more than £5 million in grant funding from the government to support businesses during the pandemic

The Coronavirus Additional Restrictions Grant has been made available to the council and is there to be used to support businesses forced to close by the lockdown or businesses which have remained open but are struggling.

Ben Everitt, MP for Milton Keynes north, said: “We know these are extremely tough times for everybody and we have to do everything we can to help local people so I urge businesses who need the support to get in touch with the council.”
