Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted on Monday (October 19) warning residents that the WiFi Smart Power Strip 13A extension lead has been recalled by the European Commission.

The European Commission review of the product said: "Due to the product's poor build, user must forcefully take plug out of the socket. The top of plug could break giving access to live parts. The user could touch accessible live parts and receive an electric shock.
