A window cleaner from Milton Keynes is offering free window cleans to key workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

Gemma McCann, owner of Gems Gleaming Glass, had to stop cleaning windows when the country went into lockdown on March 23.

Now she's allowed back to work she wants to do something for key workers and NHS staff.

Gemma said: "It started because I was off work and I felt helpless.

"We have quite a few key workers across the family, my mum, dad, step mum and sister in law are all key workers/ NHS staff and I wanted to be able to help them in some way.

"I want to help them look after their homes and it is away of thanking everyone for everything they have done for all of us.

"When the government restrictions were eased and we were allowed to go back to work, I offered to clean all their windows and they told their colleagues.

"We posted it on Facebook and the response has been amazing, we thought we might get 50 in total and we already have over 50 bookings."

Gemma will be taking bookings to clean windows for key workers for free for the next two weeks.
