The established networking service is helping helping business professionals to stay connected and informed during the pandemic.

It provides free entrance to all online events and gives people the opportunity to make connections and generate leads from their home or office.

The Curry Club was established 38 years ago by three Mancunian banking professionals who decided that a monthly networking event with peers over a curry and a beer was an excellent idea, fostering a relaxed approach to business networking.

A spokesman said: "When the United Kingdom was struck down with the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, the Curry Club knew the world of networking was in for a change With the restrictions on physical social interaction, meeting face-to-face every month in Indian restaurants was out of the question.

"Thankfully there are services like Zoom that offer online meetings. The new online Curry Club was born out of the pandemic. With many businesses closed, a panel of experts was recruited to provide free advice for the members at the online events"

The experts are from a wide range of sectors including property, banking, insolvency, HR, accounting, financial and legal.

Currently, the Milton Keynes Curry Club is one of eight running online every two weeks and there are plans to open more over the next twelve months.

The next MK 'meeting' is on the 26th May.
