New supermarket set to open in Milton Keynes

Aldi will open a brand new store in Stantonbury on Thursday, December 17, at 8am.
The new supermarket in Purbeck will be run by store manager Nick Taylor, along with a team of 33 colleagues from the local community. The business said it has brought 19 new job opportunities to the area.

Hide AdNick said: “We’re really looking forward to opening the new store here in Milton Keynes. It’s set to be a great day and it’ll be lovely to welcome our new customers into the store and provide them with access to affordable, high-quality food.”
An Aldi spokesperson said the store will offer fresh, British meat products with weekly offers, a range of exclusive beers, wines and spirits, and a food-to-go section. Aldi’s well-known special buys will also be available in the middle aisle every Thursday and Sunday..
The store is also calling on local charities and food banks to register with Neighbourly, a community engagement platform that links businesses to charitable organisations.
The spokesperson said: "Local charities that register will be able to collect surplus food and perishable products, such as fruit, vegetables and baked goods, up to five days a week. Any charities in the area that would like to partner up with the new Aldi store should email [email protected]."

Hide AdThe store's opening times are as follows: Monday to Saturday from 8am to 10pm; Sunday between 10am and 4pm.
Its Christmas opening hours are: December 19, 21, 22 and 23 between 7am and 11pm; December 24 between 7am and 6pm.
The spokesperson said multiple safety precautions will be in place to protect against Covid-19
