These are the shops now open at MK1 retail park in Milton Keynes

A "steady stream" of shoppers are visiting MK1 retail park and they are all respecting the new safety regulations in place, said the park's management today.

The list of stores now open includes DW Sports, JD Sports, H&M, M&S, McDonald’s (Drive-thru only), New Look, Next, Primark, River Island and Treat Street (Take away and delivery only).

An MK1 spokesperson said: “Throughout the day a steady stream of shoppers visited the retail park, showing a pent up demand for the services on site. All visitors were extremely respectful of the new regulations in place and we would like to thank everybody who visited for helping to make it a safe and pleasant place to shop.”

The management team have taken every precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff, including the introduction of additional cleaning and hygiene measures, asking visitors to comply with social distancing rules at all times, and introducing queue-management, where necessary.

"To enable socially-distanced travel, we continue to offer ample free parking," said the spokesman.
