Francesca Freeman, 36, earned up to £3,000 a week working under the name of Angelica and dishing out physical punishment to hundreds of eager clients.

Her regulars, who she claims included doctors, lawyers and bankers, showered her with gifts of expensive bags, shoes and perfume.

One man flew her to St Lucia for a three days and gave her a £16,000 BMW car.

But now Francesca has hung up her whip and high heels for good and is devoting herself to her new business, Mind, Body, Men.

Using meditation, yoga, and other healing techniques, she offers help to men who are depressed, stressed or traumatised.

“We are living in a world full of traumatised people who mask their inner pain with addictions, fetishes, kinks and sex.,” she said.

"I teach my clients techniques that they can use in their daily life. This enables them to self heal their nervous system. I help them release trapped and stagnant energy. I have male and female clients and also children from all walks of life."

Francesca spent a month in an Ashram in India gaining my Yoga teacher qualification. She has also studied Reiki Energy and is a qualified masseuse.

Mum to an eight-year-old son, she has no regrets about quitting her dominatrix career.

“I left the dark side behind and now connect to the light,” she said.

She blames her spell as a sadistic dominatrix on her own “inner rage” - which she is convinced was caused by a hormone imbalance.

She added: "I had this overwhelming need to be bad, I had a lot of anger inside of me and I thought that this was just the way I was wired.

"My sadistic tendencies started showing at just eight years old. By my early 20's I was working as a professional dominatrix. I suffered with many gynaecological issues and hormone imbalances. Leading up to my periods, my inner rage was out of control.

“I was finally diagnosed with Premenstrual Dysphoria Disorder when I was 32 by professor John Studd an expert in his field. PMDD is closely linked to childhood trauma and sexual abuse. I spent my life going from one traumatic incident to another. I have been sexually abused several times, beaten by partners and self medicated with drugs for a large portion of my life."

Francesca finally had a hysterectomy and the anger dissolved. She is now an advocate of clean living, and is enjoying helping others be happy and fulfilled.

“I am passionate about sharing my story so that I can help others. I spent many years living a life that I thought I was happy and comfortable with. However after a hysterectomy and then heartbreak I soon realised that I had been lying to myself," she said.

“It is my life mission to become a voice for men and women who are unaware that they are trapped in cycles of abuse."
