Major Milton Keynes employer wins national workplace award

Santander, which employs over 3,000 people in Milton Keynes, has been awarded Top Employer status in the UK by the Top Employers Institute.

Top Employers Institute recognises an organisation’s dedication to a better world of work through their HR policies and people practices.

The survey assesses Santander’s employee offering against a number of criteria including: people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, well-being, and diversity and inclusion.

Santander UK’s Chief HR officer Enrique Alvarez said: “We’re delighted to be recognised as a Top Employer for another year. In spite of a very challenging environment brought on by the pandemic, we’re proud of how we have continued to focus on creating a thriving workplace for all our colleagues, with a culture that prioritises wellbeing, develops the skills of people and promotes inclusion and diversity."
