Milton Keynes launches pancake race and wants your work team to get involved

Teams from local businesses are invited to compete in the first Milton Keynes Rose Pancake Race this month.

To be held in Campbell Park, the race will be in the form of a relay with four team members each running 300 metres - using a frying pan as a baton.

The race, to be held on February 25, will help to raise funds for the engraving of two new pillars which will be unveiled later this year at the Rose.

Debbie Brock, chair of Cenotaph Trust that runs the Rose, said; “We are really looking forward to seeing this race in Campbell Park. We are proud of our Shrove Tuesday pillar and can’t

wait to see which local organisation will win the inaugural Pancake Relay Race trophy”

To enter a team, contact The Parks Trust at [email protected]There is a £50 entry fee per team. The race will start at 11.55am on and the teams are to meet at The Milton Keynes Rose.

The Milton Keynes Rose (The Cenotaph Trust) is a registered charity funded by sponsorship,private donations, and supported by The Parks Trust and Milton Keynes Council.
