Searching for ways to grow

WS Advertising, based in Auckland Park, Bletchley, has entered the Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber Excellence Awards in the Business of the Year (£1m - £5m turnover category), sponsored by Mirus IT Solutions.

Jane Hayward, the company’s Managing Director said: “WS Advertising has seen the ups and downs of the advertising sector over the last few years and having started out as an advertising agency that purely delivered recruitment advertising solutions, has reacted to the changing demands of businesses who need more effective campaigns for tighter budgets.”

It’s the ability to be flexible that Jane is most proud of at the company, which has developed from a specialist in recruitment advertising to delivering a range of advertising and marketing for all aspects of business.

Jane added: “The task on everyone’s mind at WSA is getting noticed and getting results. That requires expertise, creativity and professional commitment.”

She adds that the secret to sustained growth is firstly “a lot of hard work”. But this is backed up by WSA working with organisations of all sizes.

In a market that she called ‘turbulent and unpredictable’ WSA has a range of clients of all sizes. After breaking into the education sector in 2010 WSA has been awarded approved partnership status with the National Association of School Business Managers.

Jane added: “Entering the chamber awards is a celebration of overcoming the challenges and the competition in this sector. It is a recognition of the consistent growth that the team at WSA has worked so hard to achieve. It is about achieving status as a respected and trusted member of the constantly evolving business community in Milton Keynes.”
