Taylor Wimpey South Midlands has donated 74 socks, gloves, scarves and hats to YMCA Milton Keynes (MK), the only provider of supported housing dedicated to young adults in Milton Keynes.

As part of its Wrap Up Warm campaign, the leading homebuilder has donated over 14,000 much-needed winter essentials to 24 homelessness centres in England, Scotland and Wales in support of its national charity partners - CRASH, St Mungo’s and CRISIS.

Since 1981, YMCA MK has supported more than 10,000 young people, aged 18-35, providing a safe place to for them to call home, as well as a wide range of services to help them reach their full potential.

Hollie-Jasmine Wills, Fundraising and Partnerships Officer at YMCA Milton Keynes, said: “Although Christmas is a happy time for many, it can be a hard time for those without support or a safe place to call home. We are very grateful for this donation as it will help our residents feel warm and cosy this Christmas.”
