Free cycling webinar to help Milton Keynes residents 'ride with confidence'

The webinar, which has been organised by Milton Keynes Council and supported by Love To Ride, has been scheduled as more people are getting into cycling due to the coronavirus pandemic changing the way the public travel.
According to MKC, there’s been an increase of almost 60% of people cycling around MK.

Hide AdThe webinar, which is both for 'newbies' and 'experienced' cyclists, will cover the following topics: qualified instructors teaching fundamental urban cycling skills, ensuring a bike is roadworthy and how to be fully prepared to start a journey, cycling routes across MK, Q&A session with a local cycling instructor, how to share space considerately in line with the Redway Code and how to be responsible in terms of safety.
An MKC spokesperson said: "A key part of the webinar will be to dispel myths around cycling in MK. So, there’s never been a greater opportunity to learn more about cycling and sharing the space on our amazing and very unique Redway network enjoying all the green spaces MK has to offer."
