A Milton Keynes Council spokesperson said: "Within schools that have a higher number of cases at present, a proportion of the pupils isolating are doing so due to operational reasons such as the number of teachers available."

Hide AdAs of today (Friday, November 27), there have been 53 new Covid cases recorded over the past 24 hours in Milton Keynes.
The government announced on Thursday (November 26) that Milton Keynes would be in tier 2 (high risk) when lockdown ends next Wednesday (December 2). The decision was due to the rate that numbers of Covid cases had been increasing over the past few weeks
