A Milton Keynes Council spokesperson said: "Within schools that have a higher number of cases at present, a proportion of the pupils isolating are doing so due to operational reasons such as the number of teachers available."

Walton High (Brooklands) - two cases | 36 isolating

Ousedale (Newport Pagnell campus) – one case | 29 isolating

MK Academy – seven cases (3 are staff) | 141 isolating

Shenley Brook End School – one (a member of staff) | 100 isolating

Denbigh High School – 11 (three are staff) | 217 isolating

St Paul's Catholic School – 39 cases (15 are staff) | 863 isolating

Lord Grey Academy – zero cases | 42 isolating

Oxley Park Academy – one case | one impacted

As of today (Friday, November 27), there have been 53 new Covid cases recorded over the past 24 hours in Milton Keynes.

The government announced on Thursday (November 26) that Milton Keynes would be in tier 2 (high risk) when lockdown ends next Wednesday (December 2). The decision was due to the rate that numbers of Covid cases had been increasing over the past few weeks
