Milton Keynes school reports another confirmed case of Covid-19

Shenley Brook End School sent out a letter to parents today (Friday) alerting them that a Year 8 student has coronavirus.
A whole form group has been sent home after coming into close contact with the student.

Hide AdThe letter to parents reads: "We know that you may find this concerning but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England."
This news comes after Tuesday's announcement from the school saying that two members of staff both have the virus.
Three other positive cases have been reported at the school since the start of the second lockdown. One was reported on Monday, November 9, one on Wednesday, November 11, and another regarding a Year 11 student on November 12.
The Government's guidance around Covid-19 in schools says that an outbreak can be defined if a school has 'two or more confirmed cases within 14 days'.
